MoldMaster Engineering – Pittsfield, MA 1983 - presentMoldMaster is a small manufacturer of fine molds for various industries. I started in 1983 as a stock boy and later moved into the Frame Department, and took charge of the Frame Department. I completed and was in charge of all aspects of framework including steam lines, eyebolts, pockets, interlocks, tubular dowels, press knock outs, knock out counter bores, locating rings, rigid tapping, and engraving. By the 1990’s almost all operations were performed on a Milltronics CNC VMC and Analam HBM using Pro Cam software and Milltronics conversational programming. I am also the lead lathe machinist (manual and CNC). I also designed and built many of the fixtures for the pressroom. I repaired and refurbished many old molds fixtures and tools.
