Project management of plant re-build and re-design. Designed and/or installed new automated equipment such as, sort systems, finishing tunnels and presses. Responsible for installation of a new wastewater system that included; a new DAF, shakers, split trench, pumping stations, tanks and other necessary wastewater components. Rebuilt boilers, washers, tunnel washers, dryers and presses. Installed new PLC controllers on older equipment. Installed new sling system and mezzanines. Reconfigured layout and expanded plant size for a more productive process flow. Additionally, served as Interim Production Manager on an as needed basis.As the Engineer and Project Manager, I had responsibility budget management, manage and communicate the scope of work, award contracts and monitor the progress of contractors. Additionally, would assign daily tasks for the maintenance department. I was also responsible to initiate and track preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules, utilizing a CMMS system. Responsible for department and team-member management, employee mentoring, performance reviews and performance improvement actions. Responsible for interaction with governmental agencies, such as city or municipal regulatory agencies and DEQ to insure permits are in compliance and/or identify and institute solutions. Provide direct oversight of the chemical treatment of wastewater, boiler and clean water treatment. Managed the re-designed of the cleanroom to meet certification standards. Rebuild machinery for other locations within the organization. Travel to other plant facilities within the organization for the purpose of troubleshooting, assessment and oversight, of areas within engineering and production departments that required process improvement.
