    An evolution of work done by my own consulting company, Edward Jensen urban productions, my tenure as the Director of Information Technology for the Tapestry on Central Condominium Association found new ways to leverage technology for this 292-unit condominium complex in midtown Phoenix, improving communications with the community, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and authorities. Highlights include:• Created and oversaw implementation of the community’s technology and security master plans, delivering maximum return on investment for minimal capital investment• Managed hybrid Windows Server and Ubuntu Linux environment, including Active Directory, Hyper-V virtualization, web servers, DNS, DHCP, failover clustering, and storage-area networks• Managed and secured multi-VLAN network, including 10 Gbps fiber, multiple Layer 2 Ethernet switches, and segregated Wi-Fi installations in public areas on the campus• Deployed cloud-based applications for anywhere access to resources, including Google Workspace for board members and management staff• Kept IT portfolio on a minimal budget, while saving the company 5% from its total corporate budget ($75,000 annual expenditures saved on a $1.6 million budget)• Participated with executive leadership to envision, create, and vet different concepts to meet stated technology and security goals of the community• Provided regular written and oral reports to community stakeholders, including the elected board of directors, to update them on technology-related matters• Created procedures to quantitatively evaluate performance of systems, vendors, or other suppliers, and make the appropriate recommendations to management, the board of directors, or other stakeholders as appropriate• Managed relationships and expectations with about a dozen external vendors, including IT-specific vendors, electrical contractors, and external security services
