Senior ExecutiveConvex Oct 2015 - PresentLondon, United Kingdom• I joined ConvEx in 2015, following a long investment banking career at JP Morgan, UBS, and RBC• Despite my extensive career background in equity-linked (most of the ConvEx team worked for me at some stage in their prior careers) I now focus on growing ConvEx’s business in other areas• In fixed income, our work began with bonds, initially based around our calculation agent work on AT1s / RT1s and make-whole calls (for EMTN programmes as well as standalone bonds)• Since 2018 I have focused a lot of energy on our LIBOR transition work, working with lawyers, bankers, securities services firms, and most importantly FRN issuers to assist them in preparing to move their LIBOR-based bonds to new reference rates. A key role we perform is acting formally as Independent Adviser in respect of the transition process following a Benchmark Event• I also assist existing and new clients in understanding the way ConvEx’s calculation agency services can help them with LTIPs and ESOPs, especially for senior management where there is often a relative TSR performance element to their compensation (and for which the calculations can in many cases be extremely complex to run)
