◾ Developed a peer-to-peer support network program and student training workshop to provide resources on campus that support students struggling with substance use disorders. ◾ Collaborated with the St. Olaf Wellness Center Assistant Director and counselors, community recovery leaders, and other college and university wellness center members to gather insight into current effective peer-to-peer models on campuses◾ Investigated and compiled reliable techniques and resources for sustainable recovery from various substance dependencies (tobacco, alcohol, etc.) as well as for effective discussions about mental health (e.g. active listening, stages of change, helping a friend in crisis, etc.).◾Trained St. Olaf Wellness Center staff with the 2-hour quit-coach training presentation I developed over the internship.
