I teach a range of Y12 and Y13 classes in both Early Modern and Modern History. I have taught modules on the Wars of the Roses, Soviet Russia, the Tudors and the British experience of warfare. My duties include regular formative assessment of student work, lesson planning, providing differentiated support for a wide range of ability levels. I am involved in extracurricular activities such as running the college's Classics Society for students interested in extending their historical knowledge to the ancient world.

I teach A-Levels and GCSEs online to students at Work Skills Learning and Edith Kay School on a part-time, remote basis. Subjects taught have included A-Level History, A Level English Literature and Language, A-Level Classical Civilisation and GCSE English Language. In this role I work closely with young people who have special educational needs or are facing other significant barriers to their education to help them achieve their academic goals. I have designed extensive schemes of work and resources and I regularly track student progress using Google Classroom.

I have tutored in a range of GCSE and A-Level subjects, including History and English Literature. I provide engaging and rigorous tuition for students to help them overcome academic or personal obstacles, think about their subject in greater depth, and secure significant progress towards their educational goals.

I have taught a range of classes to Chinese students aged 11-18 through Connexcel's online platform, including A Level English, A Level Politics, GCSE Latin and UKISET assessment preparation.

Through Aupairia's online tutoring platform I tutored Chinese students aged 5-12 in English and Latin. I also helped prepare students for TOEFL and IELTS examinations and improve their spoken English.

I co-founded a social enterprise which seeks to improve social cohesion between young people in the independent and state school sectors and teach citizenship skills. I designed and led a series of in-person workshops on a range of citizenship topics, from local politics to online cancel culture.

I taught Latin and Classical Civilisation at an independent secondary school to students aged 11-18. I managed the responsibilities of teaching several classes and producing my own teaching resources. I conducted marking and assessments, often under time pressure, and ensured this information is databased accordingly. I was also responsible for the administration of school trips and running an outreach Latin class for gifted pupils from local schools.

As a tutor on CamVision's online tutoring platform, I delivered high-quality English language tuition to Chinese students, both general English conversation practice and tailored preparation for IELTS exams.

For six weeks I taught groups of Chinese students at summer camps based in Cambridge and Tonbridge School. The lessons were centred around "Life in the UK" and combined TEFL tuition with an introduction to British culture. I designed several of these lessons myself, on topics which ranged from British comedy to traditional dining etiquette, and I was responsible for producing the resources required for these lessons. I was also heavily involved in the programme's many excursions, managing the welfare of the students, and assisting with extracurricular activities such as sports and drama.
