Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

- Teaching an undergraduate computer lab course to around thirty-five college students each quarter- Requires 10 hours of commitment each week - 2 labs, 3 office hours, and a weekly meeting- Responsibilities include prepping and teaching the material, inputting grades, responding to emails, and working together with a staff of thirty other interns and teaching assistants- Materials taught in lab are Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access), Weebly, Google Drive, and Open Office databases (tables, queries, forms, reports). Pixlr and iMovie/Windows Movie Maker are also applications included in assignments.- Microsoft Word: Mail merge, split panes, section breaks, indents/tabs, macros, autocorrect.- Microsoft Excel: Freeze panes, formatting cells, pivot tables, array formulas, sorting/filtering, functions (IF, NOW, LOOKUP).
