Kappa Delta is a sorority with four major values- friendship and loyalty, personal integrity, lifelong learning, and selfless service. At the Eta Alpha Chapter at Texas A&M University, we sought to better ourselves and the community around us. As a member of Kappa Delta, my major focus was to instill the value of confidence in all women, whether or not they were a member of the sorority.Alongside the larger leadership positions, I also served as a mentor for the younger members of the sorority. Focused on leadership development and volunteering in the community. Through Kappa Delta, I volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America and raised money for Prevent Child Abuse America and the Prenatal Clinic of Bryan.

Implemented a new education platform into the Eta Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority. Created and gave multiple presentations about diversity, confidence, leadership, and sisterhood to sorority members. Facilitated meetings for the senior members of Kappa Delta and created a program tailored to their needs in their final year with Kappa Delta.

Served as Eta Alpha's first DEI chair and laid a foundation for future DEI chairs to follow in their positions. Delivered informational presentations and opened communication with the Texas A&M chapter about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Spread awareness of ways to support and learn about those around you, and created an outlet to allow members of Kappa Delta to grow closer to their community.

Worked closely with the Vice President of Operations to ensure that all Assistant Officers were organized and had access to the materials they needed. Ran a monthly status check on all of the Assistant Officers to ensure their work was being done efficiently and effectively. Helped the Vice President of Operations to maintain quality work within the sorority.

Helped direct a group of 24 counselors through meetings and trainings. Planned continuity events, facilitated meetings, and relayed information between the counselors and a directors’ board.

Led a discussion group of 5-15 freshmen and helped ease their transition to university. Provided resources for incoming freshmen to allow better academic, social, and financial success. Attended weekly meetings and helped plan events throughout the year.
