Encompass Engineering Feb 07 - PresentEncompass are to start work on providing rolling stock engineering services to London Underground in support of the new Automatic Train Control project recently announced for the sub surface railway.Encompass Engineering are currently working with a leader in on-train WiFi solutions, providing train engineering expertise and project management services.We have previously worked with London Underground providing rolling stock assurance activities. We are specialising in the new build sub surface line S Stock trains, covering most aspects of the design, build and ongoing engineering activities.Brief of Encompass EngineeringEncompass Engineering was set-up in 2007 and is committed to providing their customers with the highest levels of service, delivering a host of consultancy services in fixed network telecommunications and rail assurance of both infrastructure and rolling stock and more recently in the design areas as well.With many years in the telecommunications and rail industries I wanted to set up a company that provided a dedicated one on one service to it's clients, providing them with what they wanted rather than what the supplier thought they should have.More recent works with Westfield construction on the Woodlane and Shepherds Bush tube stations provided re-enforcement of the breadth of skills and knowledge available in infrastructure works which builds upon the extensive knowledge built up from working on the design of the new 'S' stock rolling stock builds for the underground.
