About Eric Anderson

I'm a software developer currently working on the development of UI for a physics simulation software. I have continued interests in embedded software and applying my passion for computer science and knack for problem-solving.Through my work experience, I have experienced a real development environment with an emphasis on UI solutions, as well as an engineering environment with an emphasis on embedded software and static code analysis.I graduated from the University of Rochester in 2022 with a double B.A. in Computer Science and Physics. Going into college, I planned to only study physics. All that changed when I took my first computer science course. It was an Introduction to Programming - a pretty basic course in Python - but I was immediately taken in by the freedom and creativity of solving coding puzzles. I loved it, and before I realized it I had taken enough computer science courses to be on my way to a degree. Through my education, I developed a firm knowledge base in algorithms, data structures, database systems, data mining, and a hint of quantum computing, bolstered by my physics, math, and statistics skillset.
