The systems and technologies involved included .NET, outward and inward-facing web sites, Java, Visual Basic, ASP, BizTalk, Oracle, SQL Server, TFS, and PowerBuilder.Responsibilities:1. Managed and coordinated resource allocation for the team to ensure that projects, development tasks, and production support were completed by deadlines and within expected timeframes. This was done in conjunction with project managers and business users.2. This included working closely with business, marketing, and QC.3. Served as system owner and managed the development team for a legacy system written in PowerBuilder that served as one of the core functional systems (RADAR) within the company. Assessed scope to determine the ROI on various enhancement requests and set priority accordingly. This RADAR system is considered to be a flagship system for Litton within the loan servicing industry.4. Led project to implement Team Foundation System (TFS) for the department’s .NET development teams, which also included upgrading to Visual Studio 2010 and replacing Visual Source Safe for source code control. This project had been on hiatus for over 18 months until it was assigned to me.5. Led project to completely re-write corporate and user web site in .NET, to split it into two distinct sites, and to provide the Marketing department with a content management system to allow them to make content changes without IT involvement.6. Key contributor to OIM (Oracle Identity Management) project designed to automatically assign security profiles for internal systems based on a user’s department and job. Participated in re-design of security profile architecture.

Participated in Change Control, including defining and enforcing the process, participating in Change Control meetings, and ensuring that required documentation was presented.6. Coached team members to assist them in growing professionally, both in terms of skill sets and professional behavior.7. Performed annual employee reviews, including evaluations of strengths and weaknesses, and suggestions for areas of improvement.8. Provided technical expertise and recommendations for projects, systems, and solutions.9. Managed an extremely important project to move a mission-critical system from the server room in Houston to a data center in Omaha, Nebraska, with the goal of moving this system from the path of hurricanes and eliminate the possibility of significant downtime.10. Developed and presented disaster recovery plans for various systems to ensure rapid failover in the event of an outage.11. Performed development activities as needed to supplement the productivity of the team.
