Assistant Counsel
CurrentI provide daily guidance and counsel to a variety of NTEU chapters at numerous federal agencies on complex federal labor law issues, federal EEOC case law and procedures, MSPB case law and procedures, contract interpretation and compliance, federal labor law policy, and grievance and complaint development. I advance cases through the entire arbitration process, from developing the case, doing pre-hearing motions, putting on the hearing, and writing post-hearing legal briefs. I represent NTEU in a variety of submissions to the FLRA. I participate in local mid-term bargaining and assist in national term contract bargaining. I work to develop chapter leaders through regular contact and formal classroom training both locally and at national training sessions.I help coordinate NTEU's activities in focused national political campaigns during election years, providing on the ground assistance and coordinating the activities of campaigns with our members who are willing to participate in their free-time.
