Worked in restaurant/hospitality service for the past 15 years. (2004) Started my first job at a McDonald's as a cashier then to assembly/grill cook, spent 2 years with McDonald's in Middlesex, NJ. (2008-2011)Soon after I found myself working for an assisted/rehabilitation center named Somerset Valley RNC in Bound Brook, NJ. Over the course of the year I learned about diet and nutrition as a daily. Input patient's dietary data into the system creating a profile and menu catered to the patient's diet. Handled all receiving from food delivery, reading invoices and ensuring all product was accounted for. After 2 years, I restructured dining room operations in order to have patients engage in a social-like setting (similar to being in a restaurant). I've worked in window factory named Silver Line Windows before the plant shut down. Acquired skills such as glass cutting and window molding to quality control of finalized product. In 2012 I became a Registered Massage Practioner for the state of Maryland. Worked as a M.T for Hand and Stone Spa from 2013-2016. Graduated from B.S.O.M with a 3.64 G.P.A and a 98% attendance in both class studies and clinicals. Practiced various modalities such as Swedish, Sports, Trigger Point Therapy, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Structural Therapy, and some Hydro Therapy. Took C.E in Pre-natal and lymphatic massage for cancer patients. 2016-2017 I did some odd jobs not long-lived as a cashier supervisor and customer assistant associate. I oversaw cashier operations such as safe deposit transactions. In early 2018 I became a line cook for a well-known restaurant called R&R Taqueria. From the month of November 2017-March 2018 I was taught how to prep foods such as steak, chicken, seafood, to pork innards and cow tongues. Quite the delicacy for Latin countries of Central America. April 2018-Oct 2018 I opened with many others an entertainment business called Main Event. This is a bowling alley meeting a Dave and Busters for the family. I worked as a line cook in many positions such as Grill, Fry, Pizza station, Prep, inventory/delivery, and dishwasher. Pizza station was my favorite since it gave me ways of making pizzas for parties. Oct 2018-Oct 2019 I became employed for Clyde's of Columbia in Columbia, MD. This was my turning point in knowing what I want to do. I love food and helping people feel better. Experienced in fry, grill, garden manger, pasta, sauté, and dessert.
