When Covid shut down the training industry, I went back to work for this dealership as a sales manager. In addition to daily sales manager duties, (desking deals, negotiating, submitting deals to lenders and ensuring high customer service standards) I helped to hire and train new salespeople as well as conduct training sessions with all sales staff.

I conducted two-day workshops around North America where I taught sales process, management, closing, negotiating, objection handling, goal setting and business development techniques to managers and salespeople.

In the thirteen years with Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Winter Haven I held numerous positions: -Sales Manager, desking car deals and managing sales staff.-BDC Manager. I developed and ran the store’s first BDC department. Managing a staff of eight BDC representatives that handled all incoming calls and internet leads. Scheduled all sales and service appointments, as well as following up on missed appointments. -Customer Service Manager. I managed Chrysler’s Dealer Standards program to ensure maximum points for customer service scores along with payouts from the manufacturer. -Organize and present new owner clinics once per quarter. -IT manager. Programming and maintenance of the phone system. Working with outside companies to ensure all PC’s are up to date and functioning properly. -Opened and ran a separate accessory store for customizing vehicles as well as auto body repair. -Floor manager. Managing a team of sales representatives to close car deals. -Sales Representative. Selected Accomplishments:-I built the company’s first website in 2000 and used a variety of website providers over the years as technology changed. -Launched dozens of Micro-site campaigns along with Search Engine Marketing campaigns to target specific customers and support new product launches. -Managed and tracked all lead providers to ensure quality leads and proper responses from internet sales staff. -Managed CRM software to trigger proper responses and assign tasks to appropriate staff members. I was part of a small group of ADP users from around the country that helped to consult on their latest version of their CRM software. -Prior to CRM programs becoming popular I built my own CRM database utilizing Microsoft Access.

We produced educational animal shows for zoos and theme parks around the world. In addition to being the lead animal trainer I was responsible for training staff members and developing teams to perform shows around the world. I oversaw the construction of facilities, wrote scripts and presented shows.Selected Accomplishments:-Served as the project manager to produce a free flight bird show for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Hired and trained 25 new trainers as well as training over 100 birds to perform nine shows per day seven days per week. I also serviced as the main presenter of the shows.-Developed educational animal programs for zoos in Sydney Australia, Tasmania, Australia, Durban South Africa, and throughout the United States.
