Working remotely for GuestVsion, my responsibilities were focused on software testing, high tier escalated support issue resolution, and SQL code collaboration and peer review. I was responsible for all aspects of testing for all of the product lines including a desktop POS solution, SMS communication and online web tools and portals.The team relied on my abilities of root cause analysis, code analysis and experience in troubleshooting all aspects of Windows OS, POS hardware and networking as the highest level of escalation to resolve the most difficult unresolved issues. I was recognized as Software Quality Assurance leader for our product line while managing the end to end testing process, implementing testing design techniques in development. As Support Manager my role included resolving the highest tier escalated system issues and software bugs, through root cause analysis and outstanding product domain knowledge.To improve product quality I created a pre-release checklist and script for approval of all software releases, based on risk analysis. To ensure consistent and accurate releases I perform these checks before every release, and documented all supporting documentation and release materials. As our product evolved I oversaw, planned and documented conversion process from legacy version (in VB using Access Database) to current version of product (in VB .NET using SQL Express), constantly pursuing process improvement.Additionally I managed the overall integration and test strategy for multiple releases and processing companies for credit card integration.
