• Perform field test/analyses such as Free and Total Chlorine, Free Ammonia, Nitrite, Monchloramine, Turbidity, Temperature, pH, conductivity, Nitrate, Alkalinity and other parameters. Portable Multi- meter, YSI & HANNA.
• In the field monitoring and field services sections, assists Water Quality Technician III and Water Service Inspectors on consumer complaints / emergency calls pertaining to water quality issues, and Engineers on.
• Assist in flushing and disinfection activities of water distribution and storage facilities such as pipelines, reservoirs and tanks.
• Possess adequate knowledge of STARLIMS to schedule water sampling runs (including regulatory and/ or special – EPA guided engineering studies, and consumer complaint in- vestigations, groundwater production programs/.
• Provide supervisor real time and post run updates/information on daily field water sam- pling/monitoring and collection problems encountered, such as out of service and potential- ly contaminated sample locations and.
• Monitor and maintain, an adequate inventory and organize all testing, sampling, and monitoring supplies such as reagents, buffer solutions, sample cells, thermometers, Kim Wipes etc. used for field monitoring
