Prepared internal and external facing root-cause/corrective action reports, resolved priority conflicts, and tracked field DPPM and ARR/AFR.

I developed and implemented HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) for Fusion-io products. That involved selecting and qualifying a outside test labs, writing formal procedures, defining and deploying electrical performance tests, acquiring internal samples, scheduling tests, and then conducting the subsequent analysis on failures. Additionally, resolved customer facing quality issues and initiated appropriate Corrective Actions, primarily on returned material.

One of four engineers tasked with developing and maintaining the entire production process. That included creation of numerous tools, fixtures, and procedures, training and auditing of both local workers and remote contract manufacturers, failure analysis, determination and application of quality and yield improvements, and disposition of discrepant material. I was the main liaison to design engineering for product quality enhancements and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements.

Was responsible for creation and maintenance of the firmware configuration files used in 500 kilowatt solar inverters, which each contained 400 operating parameters, supporting two dozen different inverter models. Also did the DSP-based controller board test-fixture construction, debug, & maintenance. Performed full-power functional testing and data collection, and acted as the Code Collaborator Administrator.

Supported development of a LAN-based, fully automated disk drive firmware build & test, which included source code difference checking, automated scheduling, code compiling and build, downloading-to-drive, testing, and final publishing of results to a webpage. Performed drive failure analysis and wrote C-like script language drive test scripts. Prepared and implemented wide-ranging test automation in Python
