The majority of my legal practice is dedicated to oil and gas, commercial, and general civil litigation. The specific matters with which I have experience include: oil and gas lease lease disputes, royalty payment cases, pollution claims, and contractual disputes arising from JOA's, MSA's, purchase agreements, and other agreements. I also have experience representing landowners, cooperatives and other agriculture-related businesses in tort actions stemming from fertilizer and pesticide applications, pollution, and other injury to real property. Finally, I frequently represent individuals and businesses of all sizes in a variety of commercial matters including complex real estate financing litigation, breach of sales and service contracts, and estate disputes. As an individual or entity’s attorney, it is my duty to be diligent, creative, responsive, and efficient as we navigate the litigation process. Whether this means competently prosecuting an action, mounting a vigorous defense against asserted claims, or working toward a practical solution that makes financial sense for the business, I appreciate the opportunity to serve my clients in their litigation needs.My practice also provides numerous opportunities to work with clients outside the litigation realm. Occasionally, this involves collaborating with other attorneys in our firm whose primary practice areas are different than my own. The broad range of skills and experience of my colleagues affords me the ability to serve my clients in areas such as estate planning, real estate transactions, and business formation.
