I am in charge of managing, maintaining and securing our IT infrastructure. My goal is to balance the triangle of security, usability, and functionality in a way that puts Butler Supply's employees in the best position to be productive.I have been in electrical distribution in a similar role for almost 20 years, and nearly every day has been unique. I've had the great opportunity to do more than just dip my toe into the pool of all things IT both hard and soft. The variety, challenge, and constant learning keeps me fulfilled. I have spent a big part of my career with both feet in the server room. I am starting to climb out and look around at all the processes that not only effect IT, but my company and electrical distribution as a whole. Technology has weaved it's way into every business process, and the lines between the IT department and the rest of the business have become blurred in a way that everyone needs to become a technologist, and the IT staff has to be plugged into every business processes.
