Spearheaded over 100 + federal criminal, civil, and administrative investigations resulting in multiple administrative actions, indictments, arrests, convictions resulting in millions of criminal and administrative recoveries and cost avoidances to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Planned, directed, supervised, and motivated cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams of special agents (healthcare provider fraud and internal mail theft investigators, fraud analysists, student co-ops and interns) in CA and HI to combat fraud, waste and abuse committed against the USPS. Supervised internal control reviews, internal mail theft, financial crimes, embezzlements, public corruption, contract fraud, healthcare medical fraud, workers’ compensation fraud, general crimes, Congressional inquiries, and undercover operations. Effectively managed team goals: collaborated with peers and subordinates and assured effective advisory support; and ensured continuous progress toward agency goals. Prepared prompt written and verbal responses to official inquires to subordinates, senior managements, prosecutors and stakeholders. Improved upon and executed an evidence program in the field office and managed seven evidence storage areas with 14 evidence custodians to ensure compliance with policy. Enhanced mission critical relationships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to fuse and launch joint efforts to maximize impact and investigative efforts. Reviewed electronic cases files and ensured files were regularly updated and compliant.
