I hiked 2650 miles from the Mexican border into Canada through deserts, mountains, and forests. My schedule consisted of waking up to the sunrise hitting my sleeping bag, walking ~25 miles, and filtering water from streams. The trail was wild, beautiful, and quite remote at times. This included speaking at a Girl Develop It event to promote the course. After the marketing push, many students enrolled, creating a successful pilot-course. Under Ryan’s direction, I read, summarized, and analyzed marketing theory books, lectures from modern marketing theorists, and online course work through Lynda. • I also had initial experience working with illustrator and creating marketing copy write for Impact Hub’s social media platforms. Event Planning and Space Operations• I created an inventory spreadsheet and restocking checklist with Ryan Chatterton, the Director of Operations.• I filled out the invite lists for multiple events hosted at the Impact Hub space and helped host the events. • I created and prepared a food plan within a budget for multiple events.
