During my junior year, I took an introduction to data science class, where I worked with 4 other members on a dataset of our interest. We each used R to complete a specific task in the project, and then pulled all 5 parts together to create a concise and fluid analysis.I am currently a cohort in the data analytics-focused field for the non-profit program COOP. In the program, I am learning how to manage datasets in SQL and python, and graph their attributes in Tableau. Recently during my free time, I work on personal projects where I perform analysis on datasets found in Kaggle. I clean up the dataset, graph relevant trends, and find correlations between various attributes. I have also picked up tableau and SQL.With my statistical background, I wish to pursue a career in data analytics. I want to make use of the analytical and data visualization skills I have picked up over the years in a professional setting.
