- Derived the SEPSPOT time-optimal equations of motion of low-thrust spacecraft, for both the averaged and unaveraged systems, in modified equinoctial coordinates.- Assisted with the development of C++ tool suite for solving the resulting 2PBVP for the state and costate dynamics.

- Assisted with data acquisition, analysis, and testing of an optical laser communications platform flown successfully to the ISS in April 2014.- Lead closed-loop system performance verification analysis, identified software bugs in embedded C control system, and developed Python and Matlab scripts for cleanroom data analysis.- Designed a Monte Carlo approach for offline tuning a PI filter for transfer functions with uncertain parameters. Developed offline closed-loop Simulink models modeling CCD camera quantization effects and their potential impact on closed-loop system performance. Communicated challenges and opportunities to team and project mentors, documented final results and future recommendations.

- Developed Java and Matlab software in support of data analysis and reduction tasks in support of contracts with NASA ARC. Resolved critical bugs preventing integration of in-house Matlab and Java analysis software with a massively parallel Dantzig-Wolfe linear program solver written in C and based on 64-bit GLPK libraries.- Developed Matlab scripts and MySQL databases to store aircraft 4D trajectory radar datasets for operational analysis of airport surface movements and delays.

- Awarded Mechanical Engineering Graduate Research Assistantship (Aug 2008 - Jul 2009).- Developed Matlab and Mathematica simulation tools for the analysis of the local stability and sensitivity of planar bipedal robots and general hybrid systems.- Mentored junior lab members in theoretical concepts, published papers, and presented peer-reviewed research at academic conferences.

- Managed large-scale simulations using the NASA Airspace Concept Evaluation System and trade studies of next-generation air system concepts, as systems analyst in support of contracts with NASA ARC, the FAA, and the JPDO. Developed custom shell, MySQL, MySQL, Python and Matlab scripts and tools for data reduction and analysis of large scale datasets.- As technical lead on the SJSU Human Performance Modeling project, helped coordinate internal data analysis while communicating challenges and opportunities to project team and customer.

- Developed Perl/SQL tools and a PostgreSQL database with administrative interface to replace the CCMC's flat-file space weather simulation metadata database, in support of the CCMC mission to provide services to academics, customers and sponsors. Resolved website administration issues on RedHat SELinux.
