Born and raised in a small town in Melaka, Malaysia (known for its good food, architecture, and history), I have been blessed with the opportunity to experience a rich career path, from founding a startup during my university days, involved in research & development work in network technologies and natural language processing (NLP) areas, served as special officer to university CEO, focused on commercialization of university expertise and research, serving large tech MNCs and later in government agencies. This experience includes 10 years immersed in setting up data centre investments & operations in the region.Through these opportunities, I have had the privilege to be involved in crafting national digital policies, developing and nurturing digital ecosystems, while shaping and contributing to the development of a conducive ecosystem for the advancement of leading-edge technologies, innovative corporate culture and agile startup environments. This has involved engagements with global foreign investors, local tech communities, CEOs, world leaders, and students.
