Getting people to see that all limitations are self imposed is the breakthrough that drives me in my quest to help others.Find your WHY, what drives you, then use it to create a vision and start walking on that path!There are two misnomers out there for those who are either still in school, looking for a career, trying to figure out what they want to do, or are unfulfilled in their current job.The first is that "You can be or achieve whatever you want." In theory, yes, you can. However, there is a sentence that NEEDS to follow. You can be whatever you want. If you are willing to pay the price to become whatever that thing is. It's the price of becoming, that is a debt most are either unwilling to pay or are delusional in it's tie to becoming. We have to be better at selling the idea and virtue of hard work. Which in turn discredits the idea that comfort is what we are seeking. Comfort is not your friend. It's the thing that will talk you out of paying that price to become who you want to be. Make no mistake, your best friends are discipline and mental toughness. The second is that "You have to be passionate about WHAT you do for work"When people ask for advice on what they should do and the advice is "find your passion." That is horrible advice. You may be passionate about the guitar, but you might not be that good at it. Chasing your dream of becoming a guitarist will probably lead to little success and mounds of frustration. You don't have to be passionate about what you do. What you need to be is GOOD at what you do. You need find something that you have a natural talent for. One that you can develop through hard work over time. When you combine talent with hard work you will become elite in your field. Being elite in your field opens up opportunity in every aspect of your life. Allowing you to spend your free time doing things your passionate about. If you can figure out WHO you want to be in this world. You can start to define your WHY, purpose, then you can bring that WHY to whatever you do. It doesn't have to be something your passionate about. Your WHAT can change. Just make sure it's something that you're good at!Lastly, Be a servant. Be honest. Don't hide your intentions. Understand that we are all emotional beings with various levels of sensitivity for various reasons, and CARE about people's emotions. It's how we FEEL that drives us in the direction of happiness and fulfillment. We each hold the power to help each other reach that place.
