* Work with a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Accounting, Logistics, and Quality personnel.* Develop weld processes for production welding, troubleshooting issues and developing repair procedures. * Evaluate to determine where a need exists for robotic welding, complete the asset justification, coordinate with the integrators to bring the system into the factory, and program the parts to be welded in the system. * Maintain the Robotic Weld cells - Fanuc dual-arm systems, continue programming, touching-up programs, training of our robotic operators and robot techs. * Develop Autonomous Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance schedules for robots, tooling, and shop equipment. * Develop processes for weld, weld repair, touch up and cleaning of frames prior to paint. * Determine tooling needs and work with tool houses to design and build tooling for new part production and capacity increases. Introduce Lean Manufacturing principles into the Burlington Plant including working to change behavioral tendencies. * Coordinate with our Quality group to have parts inspected (CMM Romer Arm, Leica Laser, etc.), and tooling verified when needed. * Read inspection reports to determine corrections needed.

* Responsible for developing and maintaining current manufacturing processes, implementing weld robots (Fanuc, Motoman, and some ABB) and programming each per their part, working with Quality Engineers to develop and maintain control plans for each work center. * Perform PFMEAs, PPAPs, DFM, and ISIRs for Production Readiness, Assist Design Engineers in development of production parts ready for and able to be manufactured.* Work with Tool Design to create production tooling (fixtures), submit parts to the CMM Lab for Inspection from the new tooling (Weld Tooling Verification), and interpret prints (GD&T) to determine if any corrections were necessary.* Worked with operators on the shop floor to correct issues, and create temporary deviation documentation for any parts.
