Under the direction of the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, conduct research related to student success and equity, program review, and other projects and activities related to instructional and institutional improvement. Areas of focus include assessing student learning outcomes, identifying research needs related to success, equity, institutional practices, program evaluation, and statistical analysis.

In this dynamic and highly collaborative role I develop and lead projects that span all phases of institutional research and evaluation. Core contributions research design, IRB protocols, data development, data visualization, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and dissemination through reports, peer-reviewed manuscripts, and presentations. I am particularly skilled with transforming complex and messy data and into relatable and actionable results. My analytic work is complemented by highly developed skills facilitating and leading research teams. I regularly collaborate with and provide expert consultation to diverse groups of students and faculty. I am currently a founding member of an interprofessional research team that includes members from the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Veterinary Medicine. This is a longitudinal study to understand the prevalence of current and early childhood factors related to resilience, and associations with mental health and academic outcomes among health professions students.
