My responsibilities across projects included project management; coordinating and conducting interviews and focus groups; coding, organizing, and reporting interview and focus group data; conducting trainings; providing evaluation technical assistance; organizing large scale databases, psychometric testing; conducting analyses; and preparing findings for presentations and reports. I served as the project director for the evaluation of Oregon’s Opioid Health Education Campaign, a media campaign under development by Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to educate Oregonians about opioid use disorder and effective pain management approaches, and the evaluation of the African American/Black Student Success Plan, which aims to address educational disparities and increase opportunities for success for Oregon’s African American/Black students, funded by the Oregon Department of Education. I also served as the RMC site lead, technical assistance co-lead, and data analyst for the Program Evaluation for Prevention Contract (PEP-C) project, a cross site evaluation of the Partnerships for Success (PFS) Grant Program, Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG) Program, and Strategic Prevention Framework for Prescription Drugs (SPF Rx) Program funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). Additionally, I was the data collection coordinator, data analyst, and grantee training lead for the evaluation of Idaho’s SPF SIG and Substance Abuse Block Grant Programs funded by Idaho’s Office of Drug Policy (ODP) and the data collection coordinator for the state of Oregon’s Medication Assisted Treatment-Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction (MAT-PDOA) grant, funded by SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). I worked closely with grantees across projects to ensure quality data are collected and submitted and that evaluations are conducted in a culturally responsive manner.
