In the fall of 2009, I was a teaching assistant for ECE 207, a class in electronic measuring techniques at Purdue University. I instructed two sections of 30 students each in how to use electronic equipment in the laboratory. I was in charge of one undergraduate TA per section, and in charge of the student grades. In the spring semester of 2009, my teaching assistantship involved tutoring ECE 201 students, preparing homework solutions, and giving professors pre-exam feedback.

My education focused in the area of microelectronics & nanotechnology. Beyond the core understanding of solid state devices and electromagnetic fields, specific areas of study include MEMS and Bio-MEMS theory and fabrication, MOS theory and fabrication, VLSI, and electron transport.

I am teaching a fast-paced ECE 201 equivalent course for the Minority Engineering Program at Purdue. This program gives finishing freshman involved in the Minority Engineering Program a head start into the engineering discipline they have chosen or are interested in studying. Students also get industry experience by working with local companies. I am personally responsible for all of the lectures, homework, exams, and grading for the class I am instructing.

My position involves building smart websites for small businesses using the Django web framework.

I researched quantum-dot cellular automata under direction of Dr. Craig S. Lent, Freimann Professor of Engineering in the School of Electrical Engineering at Notre Dame. This position was obtained through the 2006 Nano-Bio REU.As a result of my work, I was published as second author on a paper titled "Power dissipation in clocking wires for clocked molecular quantum-dot cellular automata" in the Journal of Computational Electronics.
