Researchers, lawyers, engineers and representatives from both the public and the private sectors contribute to LAPIN’s goal of analyzing and supporting the development of public policies focused on the regulation of digital technologies. My work is, on one hand, to investigate, analyze and understand the impacts of the internet and new technologies on society and law, and on the other hand, to propose, inform and act with public decision makers, supporting them technically in the demands that involve digital themes, such as privacy, freedom of expression and respect for human rights on the Internet. Selected as one of fifteen Youth Ambassador Fellows for the Internet Society's Youth Ambassador Program 2024.

The Brazilian Rights in Network Coalition is a network of entities that brings together more than 50 academic and civil society organizations in defense of digital rights, with the following main themes: access, freedom of expression, protection of personal data and privacy on the Internet.

A research group at the University of Brasilia (UnB) Faculty of Law, coordinated by Professor Laura Schertel Mendes, aims to develop studies, conduct research, engage in debates, and analyze topics specifically related to the protection of personal data.
