I've had a “thing” for style and communication since I can remember. Devouring each printed word and indulging in the beautiful and trendy photos of the monthly issue of my favorite teen magazine was a non-negotiable ritual for my 14 years old self. Playing reporter in the high school newspaper led me to Journalism School, and that’s when I learned that the “communicator hat” would allow me to further explore my fascination for human behavior while satisfying my curious nature.Extracting the key messages and sharing them in a nice and audience-driven format has always been easy for me. From technology to agriculture, economics to beauty and fashion, luxury to nature preservation, you name it; I’ve created appealing and compelling content about it.The communications world, more precisely the Public Relations and Press Support world, has allowed me to meet incredible people, build a successful career in my native country (Brazil) and build it again from scratch, in a new country (Canada), in a different language, after my thirties. I do pat myself on the back for that one. All that while using my creativity and storytelling abilities to collaborate with small, large, and multimillion-dollar companies to achieve their employee engagement desired scores, brand awareness goals, and financial objectives.I believe no message gets across with a weak and disconnected image and any image can be ruined by an inconsistent message. That’s why since 2015 what started as a hobby became a second career, Image and Style Consultant, where I combine my passion and knowledge for image, style, beauty, fashion, and public speaking to help women of all ages, by elevating how they look and see themselves, making them more confident in their own skin, and ready to leverage style and communication tools to go after their dreams.Journalist, Communicator, Public Relations, Brand Strategist, Image and Style Consultant, etc, doesn’t matter the job title.
