This was a dual role, in part working with a fellow HR Advisor and reporting to the Managing Director. HR Advisor to Ascombe & Ringland, Russell, Baldwin & Bright, Property Management Team and Head Office. Dealt with all generalist HR issues.• Preparation of offer letters and contracts. Obtain references, collate all necessary documentation, greet new starters and provide induction on first day. Update the new starters spreadsheet.• Creation of leavers letter and updating all relevant systems, including the leavers spreadsheet. Create and update standard templates for use within the company.• Administration – Manage EmTrack system, including holiday, absence and updating of personal information. Issue letters for disciplinary, capability, grievance and appeal meetings. Attend the meetings and take notes when relevant. • Instigated consultation meetings prior to the office move from Henley to Bracknell.• Introduced season ticket loan and created a policy for the Fob system in new building.• Undertook ad hoc projects such as research into Social Media Policy and Lone Working Policy.• Work with Directors and outside Employment Law Company to comply with all employment laws.

• Internal Recruitment – Conducting CV screening and telephone interviews, whilst managing graduate level job adverts, monitoring them and keeping a record of success rates.• New starters and leavers – Preparing contracts and offer letters for HR Manager, apply for references for all junior starters, update Simply Personnel HR system. Collating all necessary paperwork, and greeting starter with a tour and completing all paperwork and basic HR, updating Accounts for starters on payroll. Conducting exit interviews for junior leavers in the business and updating all relevant HR systems and spread sheets.• HR Administration – Manage Simply Personnel HR system, including holiday, absences and change of addresses globally. Work with HR Manager to collate appraisal paperwork, produce absence, holiday and staff turnover reports for management and support external trainer with in-house training. Managing company benefits, keeping HR filing up-to-date and take notes at disciplinary/grievances etc. when necessary.• Research to enable set up of company intranet.• Deliver Summer and Christmas events/parties.• Office and Facilities Management

• My role entailed working as part of a small call centre team of four dealing with two large housing associations - Stadium and Thames Valley Housing Associations• On average 200 calls per day are handled by the call centre and I dealt with approximately 45% of those calls. The target was set at 85% but as a team we regularly achieved 98% call success.• Responsibility for scheduling of jobs and booking appointments with tenants, via telephone and letter. Raise purchase orders and invoices where necessary.• Allocate jobs on Stadium Housing Association’s system ‘Northgate’ to generate a work order number. SLA’s varied from 24hrs to 28 days dependent on severity of fault. • Daily liaison with field engineers via phone, email and texts.• The role required a confident telephone manner to deal with potentially difficult calls and demanded excellent time management skills.• Provided training and on-going support to new starters.

Worked in both the Lounge Bar and Restaurant of the hotel, serving guests at the hotel and responding to any queries or complaints. Then moved into The Poacher's Pub (connected to the Hotel) for the remainder of my time there.
