The company is a general environment consultancy. They do studies and research about wind energy farms, soils, and noise pollution. I developed many applications (C, R, Fortran and bash scripts) to organize a structured output of a long-term meteorological simulation using WRF and MM5 as theoretical models for the input, along with real data from meteorological towers. I wrote my part of the technical report as well, which included detailed information of the exact turbine locations and the estimate energy output of the entire wind farm.My last task on this job was building a large data base of car emissions, classifying them based on their type, age, weight, and fuel type. The goal was seeing how the new 80km/h limitation speed had affected to Barcelona’s air pollution.
