Maths graduate with a track record of detailed statistical analyses and presenting uncovered insights. Experienced in leveraging my Python and SQL skills to manipulate, clean, analyse and visualise data, as well as creating predictive models using the scikit-learn library.Since graduating, I've interrailed around Europe, challenged myself to reach new heights by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation, and developed my understanding of different cultures while backpacking South East Asia.I also worked as an Optical Consultant, something outside my area of expertise. I learned at a rate weeks ahead of what was expected and was signed off to use the optical machinery independently in my first week; a stark contrast to the months for preceding workers. It also provided opportunity to develop my ability in converting complex ideas into an easy to understand format, decreasing the time it took to pre-screen patients.My professional and personal experiences have taught me the following about myself:- I build strong relationships quickly.- My drive allows me to work long hours, learning and practising daily.- I am not afraid to fail; when I do, I analyse where I went wrong before trying again.- I stay calm in stressful situations.- Success is better when it's shared with your team.
