Greg Reid is from Valdosta, Georgia. During his last year of High School Reid was named the fourth best cornerback in the nation, and the top overall prospect in Georgia. Reid was heavily recruited out of high school, earning five star ratings from both Rivals and Scouts, and received scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Georgia, among many others. He choose to play college football at Florida State University! In 2009 as a True Freshman he played all 13 games as a true freshman and led the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision in punt returns with an 18.4 yard average, piling up 387 yards on 21 returns. As a Sophomore, he was a 14-game starter at the boundary cornerback position after making the transition as primary nickelback in 2009, he capped off the season by earning Chick-fil-A Bowl Defensive MVP after racking up five tackles, two forced fumbles and four pass breakups in the win. Greg as a Junior cornerback played in 11 games and started nine of them and registered 32 tackles (27 unassisted, five assisted), one tackle for loss, two interceptions and five pass breakups. Greg is a versatile athlete and can make plays happen anywhere on the field!
