Laboratory of Shaun Coughlin, MD PhD. Developmental biology project characterizing unique exencephaly phenotype seen in PAR1/PAR2 (protease activated receptor) double knockout embryos. Performed timed matings and microdissections of embryos; used in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry for analysis. Work was presented at HHMI Medical Fellows meeting 2004.
