• Parts Label Configurator:This project aimed to address multiple challenges within Tekion's Parts Team workflow. With multiple workflows from web, mobile side etc involving label printing, issues ranging from data integration glitches to limited label customization posed significant obstacles. Critical information such as part numbers, QR etc often faced truncation and overlaps, leading to operational disruptions at dealerships.- Designed and built a scalable and versatile microservice from scratch, specializing in configuring and processing various templates, with a specific emphasis on label templates, which later made its way to production.- Developed a custom algorithm for generating ZPL for printing labels, significantly improving label printing accuracy by 99%, with no reported issues to date.- Implemented a robust and flexible template configuration system, allowing users to customize label designs and data integration seamlessly.
