I've been with UniSuper for 5 years, having worked in IT since 2002 across a wide variety of industries - including Government, Telco, Health, Utilities, Aviation, and Finance. I'm a nerd at heart and get excited to find ways of using technology to do new and innovative things.Originally from Ipswich/Brisbane in Queensland, I've lived in Melbourne since December 2012 - returning to Australia after taking a sabbatical in Canada to train and work as a Ski Instructor. Bizarrely, many of the skills one uses as a Ski Instructor also apply to my role as a leader in technology - trust, communication, confidence, assessment of people's abilities, and stamina to work in tough conditions!I've been fortunate to have some incredible leaders in my career who have supported my growth, and I enjoy now having the opportunity to mentor and develop the next generation of aspiring leaders.
