Since joining Medtronic, I was promoted from Process Development Engineering to a Principle Engineer. Operating on 30 Acres, our 9 buildings has 4 business value streams in 8 manufacturing environments including semi conductor, integrate circuit test, surface mount and chemical formulation. After being a Principle Process Engineer, previously moved to Equipment Engineering Manager for Maintenance, Calibration, and Mechanical Design until taking the leadership role as Senior Engineering Manager and then Director. On the Tempe Campus as a Master Black Belt in Lead Sigma, Leadership Acceleration Program, Inclusion Diversity Exec Sponsor; CAPA Sponsor; Trade Secret Board; Engineering Council; Operational Excellence; and Certified Learning Leader.

Quantum Systems is a manufacturers’ representative organization covering the Arizona, New Mexico and Sonora, Mexico territories. Primary focus includes the electronics, semi-conductor, light industrial and maquila markets representing top tier suppliers. Provided service and process solutions to our customers for SMT equipment, manufacturing tools, solder and adhesives, automated cleaning, ESD control, chemicals, inspection equipment, and xray equipment.

Growing from Process Engineer to Supervisor to Engineering Manager responsible for all manufacturing engineering aspects include process engineering, manufacturing engineering, component engineering, engineering aides, advanced manufacturing engineering, and equipment maintenance. Engineering leadership included Tempe Arizona, Poway California and Rocklin California and a member of the Advanced Leadership Symposium development for next generation leaders. Varian-Jabil provided electronics manufacturing services to 40+ low to mid-volume customers.

After completing five 4-month internships with Medtronic as part of my engineering degree, started with Nortel Networks after graduation responsible for process engineering specifically for manufacturing cellular infrastructure with emphasis on surface mount technology.
