Directed a research project focused on manufactured nanomaterials in construction. Our team studies occupational exposures and exposure prevention. We also develop and deliver training materials to increase awareness of how nanomaterials are being used in construction, and to share information about exposure risks and controls. CPWR is the nonprofit construction safety and health research and training arm of the North America’s Building Trades Unions, AFL-CIO, which represents 14 international/national building trades unions and more than 3 million workers. CPWR also serves as the National Construction Center under a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (CDC/NIOSH).
