Heathrow And Gatwick

Sole provider of IT Storage technical input in the divestment of Gatwick from the BAA estate following it's sale to GIP. Project led role to audit, design and deploy new and existing IT Storage Infrastructure for new and cloned applications to aid the separation on both sites. Working closely with the UNIX and Windows teams as well as Project Managers on technologies including Sun StorEdge, HP EVA and HP XP Storage arrays, Legato Networker, EMC VTL and Brocade SAN Switches.

Working in a project environment with end clients and third party suppliers to design, document, deliver and test final post sales technical solutions. This involved authoring high level designs and translating them into detailed build documentation from which to deliver and integrate the solution on site. Thereafter undertaking post delivery testing, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge to an end user group to secure client sign off.

Providing end clients with 24/7 mission critical onsite support, troubleshooting and remedying issues with Sun hardware and related software products across the South-East. Escalation support for partner engineers and telephone support to peers. Documenting work carried out onsite so that progress could be checked by a technical and non-technical audience.

Working as part of Sun's service delivery team at Vodafone providing support on all Sun products.A dedicated onsite engineer for BSkyB responsible for managing client expectations for onsite service and support, for all aspects of Sun systems at the Isleworth site. Identifying proactive measures to enhance the service offering to the client, whilst an integrated member of the BSkyB Unix team.

Working in a team providing mission critical support on Sun's communication and networking product range. Liaising with clients on live call transfer and performing analytical trouble shooting. In addition, fulfilling a Team Co-ordinator role as an escalation contact, administering group call management and resourcing.
