Worked as a teaching assistant for Thermodynamics 1 for Chemical Engineers. Responsibilities included grading assignments and aiding students in reinforcement of key thermodynamic concepts. This role provided experience in teaching engineering coursework and the opportunity to practice leadership skills.

In this research role, I worked closely with a member of Mizzou's Bioengineering faculty on a study involving the use of Optical Coherence Tomography for non-invasive tissue imaging. I was able to contribute to organizing an academic paper on the research, but the project was terminated due to COVID before the paper could be completed.
