With over a decade of experience in safety and security, I am a Board-Certified Threat Management Specialist, security professional, and entrepreneur, dedicated to advancing safety and protection through technology and intelligence-led solutions. As the creator of the Evidence-Based Self Defense® system, I have developed innovative approaches to personal safety and empowerment, focusing on practical, effective strategies grounded in military psychology and real-world experience.As a founding partner of Shaan Saar Krav Maga Orlando, I helped establish Central Florida's gold standard in Krav Maga and No Go Ju Jitsu, featured on FOX and NBC news, and recognized with over 100 five-star Google reviews. Shaan Saar is renowned for its excellence in delivering top-tier self-defense instruction, and my role as a Master Certified Krav Maga Instructor and Israeli CQB Instructor has allowed me to share my expertise in personal threat management, open hand and weapons based defensive tactics. In addition to my work in the private sector, I am a licensed armed security professional, previously earning Department of Defense (DoD) clearance, having served on security detail at Lockheed Martin Orlando, where I was recognized as Security Professional of the Month. I am a founding partner of the licensed, insured armed Shaan Saar LLC Security Group, where I provide strategic, intelligence-driven security solutions and patrol services. I am honored to have been inducted into the Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2019 for Teaching Excellence in Education. Over the past 10-years, I have also served as a professional educator for civilians and law enforcement in defensive tactics, covering firearms, arrest and control, and active shooter scenarios. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida, further enhancing my understanding of criminal law, law enforcement, and security dynamics in an ever-evolving landscape.
