Senior Digital Marketing Manager
As Senior Digital Marketing Manager i'm responsible for developing and executing a consistent digital marketing strategy via Organic Search. Part of this strategy is to ensure collaboration with SEM and Social media teams to deliver a consistent brand voice in the market. In early 2020 I was part of a project to build a digital team at Datto. This included building a SEO function from the ground up, interviewing a digital marketing leader, SEM Manager and a Social Media Manager for this new digital team. One of our best long term projects was starting the Managed Service Provider Magazine that is distributed across the world, with thousands of copies being distributed every quarter keeping MSPs up-to-date with Datto and the wider industry.

When I first started at Datto one of my first projects involved migrating the .co.uk site over to .com/UK as part of our global strategy. I gathered a working knowledge of GIT and Craft CMS codebase, over my first four months it became clear the EMEA region needed support in digital marketing efforts to post the website migration which is where I moved to in April 2016.

I have a proven understanding of SEO that generated results by leveraged the power of Google webmasters, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Screaming Frog and SEO PowerSuite to help advance multiple websites further. I also constructed detailed client reports for their understanding. Most clients also balanced their SEO efforts with digital advertising to ensure that they were improving their brand reaches as quickly as possible. As part of our Google ads service, we ran everything through an ad manager account, as a result, had to carefully manage both the budgets and the content being prompted for our clients. During my time at Jigsaw, we would be running ads for around 20+ clients at any one time. Another part of being a full marketing agency was managing the invoices and billable services, we managed this in Freshbooks and we had this set up for recurring payments for hosting and one-off requests like logo designs.With a strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and JS and basic knowledge of C and visual basic programming language, I was able to build a wide range of sites for companies all over the UK. In this time we used a variation of CMS platforms including WordPress, Magento, Opencart to name just a few. One of the largest successes was the creation of a taxi booking platform from scratch.I was responsible for helping support and coach two members of staff. The main objective was to ensure that the day to day running of our projects runs smoothly, invoices were sent and paid and that projects are completed to the correct standard.
