An outdoor mall location where I provided in-store customer support and generated sales of sunglasses, apparel, footwear, and accessories. With each transaction, I strived to collect charitable funds for OneSight, a nonprofit organization that provides easier access of vision care to underprivileged communities around the world.

Camp Pendleton, California

I served a vital role as a general communications operator, with a strong understanding of radio and antenna systems, communications security (COMSEC), and equipment maintenance. This was a heavily team-based environment but it also opened many opportunities to demonstrate leadership and self-efficacy. During field operations in 29 Palms and Australia, I led several teams that supported the unit's communications networks and we troubleshot any non-functional equipment. Also, I proudly possessed the "COMSEC Custodian" billet within the battalion and was the primary liaison for the distribution of COMSEC material, Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), and other various communications equipment. On a periodic basis, I filled radio and data systems with the appropriate keys, using various fill devices provided to the unit.
