I pride myself on having a professional attitude towards all aspects of life, superb written and verbal communication skills, maintain a passion to learn, attention to detail, and the drive and work ethic to back it up. Prior to my Bachelor’s Degree, I obtained an Advanced Diploma in Electronics Engineering. It was during these studies that I was introduced to microcontrollers and discovered my love of programming, and with it, a preference for software over hardware. During the course of my Computer Science and Software Development degree at Deakin University, I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Deakin Information Security Club. Through DISC I was able to further my knowledge in both Security and Programming, while also providing the unique opportunity to think about each of these topics from the others’ perspective. I enjoyed working in combination with others, and I found that the logical thought processes required by programming helped greatly when attempting to understand, describe and plan a solution to any given problem. My greatest achievement within DISC was Vice Captaining Deakin's top team for CySCA 2015, Australia’s only national cyber security competition.
