About Greg Black
IBN Electronics, Inc. was the first business that I owned. When I started the company in August of 1990, my desire for it at that time was to build the business to become an international electronics distribution company. After accomplishing that goal through 1999 and the fact that the whole market of electronics fell dramatically by the end of the year of 2000 due to most manufacturing companies that had decided to move their manufacturing facilities overseas, I decided to sell IBN Electronics, Inc. for a fraction of the $10 Million dollars that DLJ had offered to purchase the company for in January of 2000, which I did during a very slow electronics market in the year of 2003.
