Act as primary support on multiple large applications with significant business impact. Operate independently with latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions Build, install, upgrade, patch, and maintain development, QA, and production instances of several applications. Configure and customize these supported applications to accommodate business process, preference, and functionality. Effectively manage communication between end users, vendors, and IT departments to solve production, development, and QA environment problems quickly.Maintain current description and documentation of application configuration, including tracking and documenting any changes to environments.Work closely with other system administrators to identify integration points shared with my applications.A strong working knowledge of MS Server 2003/2008R2, MS SQL Server 2005,2008R2, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, UNIX and AIX based operating systems, CA Service Desk, CA NSM, CA Desktop and Server Manager, Unicenter Asset Portfolio Manager, CA Service Catalog, CA Workflow, CA IT Process Automation Manager, CMDB and the ITIL methodology, Cohesion, Unicenter Asset Collector and Intelligence, Tivoli Systems Management backup/restore interface, Captaris RightFax, Backup Exec backups/restores, router and switch troubleshooting, tape media management, set-up and troubleshooting of NT/UNIX printing and print server administration, Microsoft SCOM, CA Wily, and Bluestripe FactFinder.
