With over 30 years of legal experience with public companies, private equity portfolio companies, and family businesses, I serve either as outside general counsel or in tasked roles to manage risk and develop and achieve business objectives. I have broad experience in corporate governance matters affecting companies in a variety of internal (ownership or management changes and succession) and external (regulatory compliance, activist and proxy fight) situations, and I serve as independent legal counsel for boards of directors of open-end and closed-end funds and in special situations.
