I have volunteered in my spare time to help this wonderful writer's conference manage its tech assets. In 2023, I coached ~10 committee members to help me record 29 conference sessions (32 hours). I edited, polished audio, and released the content to the attendees.

I implemented ANTLR-based query parsers for JPQL/HQL/EQL, maintained the backlog of tickets, conducted releases of the Spring Data train, interacted with the community at large, spoke at multiple conferences, and even rewrote the core of query generation and execution.

I took over management of Spring Web Services and maintained it. I managed community contributions like adding support for Apache HTTP Client 5 and other contributions. I transitioned the project to Jakarta EE 9, a major change in APIs, and dropped 3rd party toolkits that didn't keep up, e.g. XWS-Security. I upgraded it's build systems as well as its.

Joined the Spring Data Team to contribute to Spring Data REST. Later worked on Spring HATEOAS sparking a new era of hypermedia support. Took over the entire Spring Data portfolio's continuous integration pipeline system and transitioned eventually to Jenkins, ensuring everything complied with team-wide secure pipelines initiative.

Worked on several commercial components including the Hyperic HQ plugin for tcServer.

Led development of the Ops Center's main dashboard application (defunct Unified Development Server) used to monitor our FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) telco services, processing network events from 350,000 devices spread across 8000 sites. Designed & implemented highly available system while managing up to seven junior developers who assisted me in.

Built up the means to automatically test the baseline and then created a CRON job to run it every night. Supported the customer trainer during sessions by providing technical knowledge of key systems (ADA). Assisted QA department by generating contracted release reports, also complying with corporate policies. Also developed system installation procedures.
